About Dr. Moore

Kira Moore, DO, is a board-certified OB/GYN serving women of all ages at Antheia Gynecology in East Windsor and Freehold, New Jersey. Dr. Moore treats a number of women’s health needs and brings her advanced training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery to the practice.

Dr. Moore grew up in Morris County, New Jersey, and completed her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, where she graduated with honors. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, formerly the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ, School of Osteopathic Medicine, receiving recognition for her dedication to community service. 

Dr. Moore went on to finish her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. During this time, she was the education chief resident of obstetrics and gynecology and recognized for her wonderful patient service and the education of her junior trainees.

Dr. Moore received her fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica, New York, where she gained experience in treating abnormal uterine bleeding and endometriosis. She also performed hundreds of laparoscopic surgeries, which are minimally invasive procedures with quick recovery times. 

During her fellowship, Dr. Moore presented at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Annual Clinical Meeting and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists Global Congress. She received recognition as a fellow scholar of the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons. 

At Antheia Gynecology, Dr. Moore offers well-woman exams, family planning, sexually transmitted disease (STD), and human papillomavirus (HPV) testing, Pap smears, and other general gynecological services. Her experience in minimally invasive surgery provides women of all ages with an expert diagnosis and effective treatment plans. 

Dr. Moore is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is proud to have traveled to the Philippines with the Marian Rose World Surgical Mission team, and in one week, performed 40 major gynecologic surgeries on patients who needed care.
